Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
lack of sleep is pretty horrible.... and so is hitting the wall when everyone else is asleep
if staying up all night doesnt work for you, then id try getting some pm-type meds to help... you'll be amazed at how much better you feel (for a while, till the sleep thing gets all messed up again)
i hope this helps at least a little, but im sure youve tried it/thought of it before
*hugs*
I do talk therapy, meds, prayer and support systems like this one. My life isn;t perfect, but the tools I use help a great deal. I do not know what tools you use, but if you your depression is pretty constant, you may want to consider doing more than whatever it is you currently are doing. You may also want to think about your daily life. I am assuming from your message you are a stay at home mom? Perhaps think about if there is some additional activity, group or hobby you can take up. Some stay at home parents find that while they love their kids very much, they also need to get out a little more an have little "me" time.
I hope you have a good day and find the answers your need.
