Hi my name is Ameer. I just joined the other day but still getting familiar with how this site works. My counselor recommended it to me to help with my depression by hearing from others experiences and he was right. Depression sucks but I don't have to tell anyone. I just need a place where I can be me and comfortable with others like me. Wanted to introduce myself and say hello and thanks for reading.

I just came back to the site a few weeks ago. It does help to read the posts and realize you are not the only one feeling certain ways and things. I know I don't feel as much of an outcast now, I don't feel so alone.
I hope you don't need it for long, best of luck on your journey, I think everyone is pretty open here.
