Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Yes, the kids will be upset at the break up, they are upset by the violence and fighting too no doubt. You say you know he doesn't love you, he's just using you since he doesn't work.
I wouldn't worry about him, I'd worry about myself and my kids. I'd get rid of the guy. Maybe a counselor can help you work through this. Don't worry if he won't go - the counseling is to help you deal with this horrible situation, it's not gonna make him love you - nothing can do that.
I'm sorry you are going through this, it's so sad when a partner won't do their part. Good luck to you and Big Hugs
After the restraining order, my kids were very upset with me and kept asking for their dad back.. Also he sent emails to our oldest daughter saying how he was wrong and how what happened made him realize how wrong he was.. He asked her to beg me to talk to him and when we talked, he promised me so many things and because I thought it was going to be the best for the girls I went ahead and did..But it only lasted a few weeks before everything went back to how things were before he left..
As for love.. Honestly i gave up on the idea of love.. I dont want to force anyone to love me.. I just wish to have respect and be treated right and at least have a civil relationship for the sake of the kids... But that is not always the case... And I never know when he is going to explode again...
