Has anyone ever done an intensive outpatient therapy program? If so, how did it work? I need help and this is what my therapist suggested.

Outpatient is usually less 'intensive' than inpatient. Intensive is a relative term. I urge you to take your therapist's advice. Can't hurt.

I have. I actually liked it. But didn't finished because the phd in charged was a controll freak, and made me sign a contract about missing class or being late, would get kicked out. Given I was in active UC flare, this was undoable for me.
Then after I just didn't show after my 3rd infraction. They sent me a letter asking me what happened to me.
But thats the K-monster for ya.
So my adive is go, and pay no attention to the nonsense contracts they make you sign. I think they are as relevent as master/slave contracts.
