Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
The strongest suggestion I have to make is to keep coming back to DS, and participate in the community. WE are all in this together, and the more the merrier; and the better we all heal. Thanks for participating. Without you, what would be the point?
I think you should keep the job you have, until you find another one. I know you are new, but the first few times of a new job are difficult. Look at what your degree is in and go to the site LinkedIn.com and start a profile. Analyze what you want to do and look at peoples experience there. Once you see what people have done map your future. In these times temp agencies are GREAT... They are always looking for young talent, trust me, I lost my job in March and am 46 and can't get a new one, but that's my burden. On your day off, go to a major agency and register. Have them help you. I wish you luck, I pray you can find your own path and let go of the burden of what you have been through. Best of luck.
You hate your job, ok, so what can you do about it? Could you call in sick for the day to attend interviews or could you book the time off in advance? Or could you say that you have Drs appts to attend and need the time off
IMO it may be worth staying with this job at least until you find something better, because who knows how soon that will happen
As Bob said, participating in our community may well help, I hope that it does
