Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Second thought.....Atenolol.....I had a bad reaction to this BP drug and an SSRI. It seemed to intensify the side effects of my SSRI (minimal dose of Lexapro). I had very little motivation, although I was interested in doing things, and very little follow through on projects. Arms and legs felt heavy. Just a note of caution, since you have been diagnosed with MS....you may have a similar reaction and fear your MS symptoms have increased. When I switched Doctors, he questioned why I was on that particular BP medicine, since it is typically given to people with heart problems.....as it blocks adrenaline. He told me that there are lots of other BP meds that have far fewer side effects. He put me on another and WHAT A DIFFERENCE ! I also suffer from panic attacks and it was not prescribed for that. Just wanted you to be aware, in case it did the same to you. Hope that helps
