Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

Thanks for your advice.
I'm so sorry that the news isn't good...if I were you I would just push, and push, and push your pdoc. I mean, if you need help they need to make room in the schedule for you, even if it's just 15 mins, or at least a 15 minute phone call so you can talk about your concerns. Unfortunately, mental health resources are often not abundant, and good ones can be difficult to find, so you've got to advocate to yourself! This may mean p!ssing some people off, but you've got to look out for you. Keep pushing, be professional and generally courteous (don't swear at them), but be firm and stick up for yourself...hopefully they will find room for you.
I have high expectations of my practitioners, but I think that everyone should, and we've got to push some to get the service we deserve.
Sorry if you don't like that I'm saying "you've" got to do these things. I don't mean to bully, I'm trying to encourage. I would never really TELL you what to do because I don't know you, and I don't know what's best for you. But I do hope that you will advocate for yourself.
Good luck
