Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I echo L's sentiment, Xs a thousand. Don't let the turds get to you. We knows you're awesome.
Sometimes its my friends that do this and I find myself wondering if they do it to me just to wind me up, to get a reaction.
Probably overthinking it but 3 times since monday this has happened. One a day, solid averages there!
I think I may practice ignorance from now on. Just not say a thing in response. Look, smile and nod.
*If you say so*
It's even more sarcastic if you smile when you say it x
Should I be practicing in the mirror? I want to get it down tight!
I think I need to learn when to speak and when to stay silent. Sometimes a withering look is enough
maybe body language....or attitude....
These things are not really visible online..or maybe people are jealous or have their own issues. There's a lot of the other humans not really worth spending 2 minutes on....
sorry, no help. (((hugs)))
Not advocating being a dick to nice people...but there's times, I tell ya...
If somebody isn't getting what you're saying, or they just want to argue, that's their problem. You might come off (unconsciously) as argumentative yourself, which provokes others. I've been told I come off as bitchy, which I will never understand, but what can you do?
The people who know you, know you, and that's what counts. Screw the rest if they're gonna argue and make assumptions based on nothing.
Peace to you.
