Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
ago on the 21st of this month. . .my birthday. I so do feel for you.
Peace and hugs.
Be strong, your Mom would want that!
I am so sorry. You truly are a warrior and your mom must have been amazing just the same.
There is no greater pain than losing someone you love because there is no greater love that can compare to how much you felt for that person.
Suffer Well.
You'll get thru this, one day at a time. The reason I know this is if you could get thru taking care of your mom you can get thru anything. We are all here for you, so when you feel crappy just let it out. You'll be ok.
I'm so sorry you lost your mom. I know how deeply this hurts and how helpless if feels - mine passed away ten years ago and during certain times, I STILL cry hot tears for missing her so much. I find a little comfort in going to her gravesite (I don't sit and stare at the marker - I usually walk around because it's so lovely there and peaceful). I gain more comfort when I close my eyes and recall just a simple smile or her hair or her eyes. In this sense, they are still very much a part of us and it's all we can have right now. I hope, in some small way, these thoughts could help comfort you.
