I believe that a shift in your current thinking will work wonders for you. Most human beings are impulsive reactors, in other words they react immediately to a given situation, sometimes healthily, but more often than not unhealthily.
We learn this behaviour, via in particular, the teachings of our parents, they program us according to their upbringing beliefs. Generally speaking it is not healthy to be an impulsive reactor because more often than not we do not LISTEN to what is said, in particular about us.
And when we fail to listen with intent, we leave ourselves wide open to accept abuse of us that is not true of us at all. And how do we feel as a result? Spot on, DEPRESSED.
