Depression - Teen Support Group
Teen depression is marked by persistent sadness, discouragement, loss of self-worth, and loss of interest in usual activities. Depression can be a temporary response to many situations and stresses. Teens may be more susceptible to depression due to the normal maturation process, the stress associated with it, and conflicts with parents as they become more independent.

But if you kill yourself, it's all over! But I'll hurt the people I love! But who loves me? Wouldn't they be better off without me?
I've seen the real thing. I'm in eighth grade and every year someone attempts suicide at school. And it happened last week, someone called the cops, and the kid didn't die.
The point is, you're not alone. You aren't invisible. And someone cares about you and someone will try to stop you because no decent human will let one of their own die. And eventually, someone will hear you. Someone will get to you. And when you feel the worst you've ever felt in your life, it will get better.
