Depression - Teen Support Group
Teen depression is marked by persistent sadness, discouragement, loss of self-worth, and loss of interest in usual activities. Depression can be a temporary response to many situations and stresses. Teens may be more susceptible to depression due to the normal maturation process, the stress associated with it, and conflicts with parents as they become more independent.
I firmly believe it is school doing this to you, perhaps there is a situation in school that is bothering you, or you seem to be worried about something between your parents at home? I have parent trouble too, and I would be more than happy to talk things out with you in message if you'd like.
I dont know if you have depression. Everything you mentioned is a SIGN of depression but does not mean you are quite depressed yet, but remember there are different types of depression, and so you could be in a temporary stage.
I too get depressed at times (If you read my journal and post you'll see.) but I do my best to fight it.
Its a scarey thought when you ask yourself if life will be like this for a long time or not, but have faith, and realize that you can fight it, I know how hard it is at times, but even I fight it, day by day, I look for things that make me happy.
I wish you all the luck, if you need anything, you can friend request and message me. I will gladly talk with you.
