Depression - Teen Support Group
Teen depression is marked by persistent sadness, discouragement, loss of self-worth, and loss of interest in usual activities. Depression can be a temporary response to many situations and stresses. Teens may be more susceptible to depression due to the normal maturation process, the stress associated with it, and conflicts with parents as they become more independent.

That combination, which the natural changing of the seasons of your life and depression can be defeated. The first step is identifying the cause and treating it, rather than the symptoms. Cut off the head of the snake.
That's actually not true. That really frustrates me that you could give someone that "advice". I've had severe deep depression triggered by sexual abuse in my childhood and also genetics, I'm now also a freshman and it's finally getting better. It's been about eight years, but now I'm pulling through and you can too! It just takes time, it may seem like it will never end but it will. It sickens me that people will take away that hope from you. Maybe you should message me and we can talk about this a bit more? I could help you out, more so we could help each other out.
