Depression - Teen Support Group
Teen depression is marked by persistent sadness, discouragement, loss of self-worth, and loss of interest in usual activities. Depression can be a temporary response to many situations and stresses. Teens may be more susceptible to depression due to the normal maturation process, the stress associated with it, and conflicts with parents as they become more independent.
First, you need to find yourself. Realize who you are as a person. You are a strong soul, and you can reach many heights. Don't let depression define you. You are your own definition. Find the good in yourself and accept yourself; with or without depression.
Next, tell him how you feel. If he's really your "friend", he'll at least TRY to understand. Write him a letter, call him. Tell him that you didn't mean any of it and that you have strengthened yourself. You're ready to start talking again.
That's if you WANT to talk to him again. If you feel he'd be more pain than happiness, don't. Let yourself heal without him. You need to do what's best for YOU.
But remember, no person is perfect, and if he is trying to work on being better and not hurting you, maybe you should talk to him again and get him back in your life! :)
If you need to talk more, message me. I'll be glad to. Hope this helped!
STAY STRONG.
