Depression - Teen Support Group
Teen depression is marked by persistent sadness, discouragement, loss of self-worth, and loss of interest in usual activities. Depression can be a temporary response to many situations and stresses. Teens may be more susceptible to depression due to the normal maturation process, the stress associated with it, and conflicts with parents as they become more independent.
The way I coped was watching funny TV series like Married with Children or read. There's a book called "a Brilliant Madness" written by an actress Patty duke which tell her story along with many others what they did and stuff like that.
I also started to volunteer at the humane society because I LOVE being around animals and have noticed my anxiety went down a lot since then. I also listened to music with an upbeat or something with a calming effect or a song with a deep purpose/meaning to it
