Depression - Teen Support Group
Teen depression is marked by persistent sadness, discouragement, loss of self-worth, and loss of interest in usual activities. Depression can be a temporary response to many situations and stresses. Teens may be more susceptible to depression due to the normal maturation process, the stress associated with it, and conflicts with parents as they become more independent.
Try talking to somebody...I know it's hard, but it's better than bottling it all up then exploding at someone. Try going to the doctor and see what he/she says.
I do feel a little better, but if someone says the wrong thing I get pissed and just feel like I'm going crazy. I have the same "emptiness and mixed feelings" along with the weird eating habits too.
This is the 2nd time I've been through depression. The first was during my whole Freshman year of HS, and this time started in November and I'm gonna graduate from HS in a couple days, and afraid of the unknown because I don't know when I will get better, but I WILL!
Be STRONG, have FAITH, and DIG DEEP for that extra motivation each day
