Depression Supporters Support Group
This community is dedicated to spouses, children, relatives, co-workers and others who are actively supporting someone suffering from depression or other serious mental illness. Depression can bring about intense sadness, melancholia or despair that has advanced to the point of being disruptive, which can have a grave impact on the ability of others trying to help.

There are things like meditation or yoga to help calm and focus your mind. You may even want to have a massage to relieve bodily tension. The more you worry about not coming out of a breakdown, the more your worry and stress levels go up, and you increase the chances of having a breakdown (which you feared so much). It's very hard not to worry, I know. With God's help you can subdue your worry ('Don't worry about your life - don't worry anymore!'. Take some deep breaths every now and again. When you get stressed out your breathing becomes shallower, or at least, mine does.
Also, you may want to imagine, just for a moment, that the worst has happened - it will be survivable. You won't get stuck in a mental breakdown state forever - powerful drugs nowadays will prevent that from happening.
My grandad had a nervous breakdown when he was younger - he was hospitalized. He came out of the sanitarium and was ok. He never had another nervous breakdown for the rest of his life.
