Depression Supporters Support Group
This community is dedicated to spouses, children, relatives, co-workers and others who are actively supporting someone suffering from depression or other serious mental illness. Depression can bring about intense sadness, melancholia or despair that has advanced to the point of being disruptive, which can have a grave impact on the ability of others trying to help.
I am so glad to hear you had a happy night, it's those moments that we live for and still remain by our loved one's side.
And things have been "normal" now for about 4 days. No super depression.. Just normal down moments but happy ones too :)
Tonight I feel a down turn on its way back. I'm trying to remain light and joyful and not be affected. But these times it's hardest for me to stay strong. I want to give him anything I can to stop him from going back down. But I can't and I won't. I give him my heart and my stabilization. No hurting me to buy his temporary happiness. I will stay strong and I will help him try to stay positive thinking.
