Depression Supporters Support Group
This community is dedicated to spouses, children, relatives, co-workers and others who are actively supporting someone suffering from depression or other serious mental illness. Depression can bring about intense sadness, melancholia or despair that has advanced to the point of being disruptive, which can have a grave impact on the ability of others trying to help.
First off I am so sorry you're going through this. But you're not alone and the good news is they say if the person talks of suicide..: they're less likely to act on it.
I am putting a link here to an old post of mine and amazing advice I received from Bpdistough. He used to be on here and share a lot of experiences, not only was he a depression supporter but also was once a supported depressed person.
