Despite the really rough times we've stuck it out. He's the most supportive person I have ever known in encouraging me to be my best, but he's almost never there in person to share it.
I can't talk about it to any of my family or friends despite the fact some of them have dealt with similar issues. They just tell me to find someone worthy. For them they can't understand that this person who accepts all of my quirks is important enough for me to cope with the down times. He stood by me while i had a complete nervous breakdown.
We are a stronger couple for dealing with this, together. Thank you for reminding me i'm not alone.
I hope things are going well for you these days :) I agree with you... the positives are a great place to put our focus! It helps me I know... big time! I am glad to here from you. I am going to search for my fairy tale love each time it is a bad moment :) I will happily think of you and send a little thank you into the universe to you for creating this idea :) my fairy tale love... it is there... just hidden sometimes :)
Brownielove, I thank you back! You are always such a support during the hard times! This is the last semester for my bf so I'm hoping it's the last of these everyday melt downs. However we are in the heart of the semester and that means the meltdowns are more frequent. This time around I've actually been pulling away and letting him deal with it. Not to be mean, but to help him develop the coping mechanisms to deal with it on his own. So far with a little help, it's been working! Even though the meltdowns keep coming, they don't last add long or get nearly as bad. How have you been?

What a PERFECT quote for this thread!
