Depression Supporters Support Group
This community is dedicated to spouses, children, relatives, co-workers and others who are actively supporting someone suffering from depression or other serious mental illness. Depression can bring about intense sadness, melancholia or despair that has advanced to the point of being disruptive, which can have a grave impact on the ability of others trying to help.
But one aspect of this is sure: at some point they will be able to see it for themselves.
Do you fear their reactions? What options do you have in case they react negatively?
I am a dad (57) and had a rough time with my little girl (now 31). My hope is that your parents realize how precious you are and if in fact your PG then that is a blessed thing. I am a Catholic as are many in the islands but I also know that there is nothing that my children could do to stop me from loving them,
God Bless.

I am so worried, I dont know what to do.
They are very accurate.
The first thing i would do is sit down and say..
"How much do you love me?"
I have something to tell you - it is very hard to tell you.
I am very scared and I need your support.
If you want to and need to tell them you are sorry, ashamed, etc. go ahead and tell them that.
Then be sure you tell them who the father is, what your relationship is with him and what you want to do.
ask for their advice.
Good Luck.
