Depression Supporters Support Group
This community is dedicated to spouses, children, relatives, co-workers and others who are actively supporting someone suffering from depression or other serious mental illness. Depression can bring about intense sadness, melancholia or despair that has advanced to the point of being disruptive, which can have a grave impact on the ability of others trying to help.
I actually have a neighbor who is an alcoholic depressive. Last month she was screaming and yelling. Stuff was being smashed and we could hear it. Her husband came over an talked to us... He said he can't handle going to work everyday and coming home to this crazy person. It was too much for him to handle. My guys depression is quiet... No one knows unless we tell them. But as this neighbor was describing his horrible life to my boyfriend I thought... This is my life! I have wondered ever since if he clicked to this at all or if he doesn't have a clue that he's like this and that's how I feel sometimes (lots).
To have a neighbor to talk to would be great! We should start a little community! :)
But seriously, lets all move close to each other so we can just all get together when they are having bad moods....sound good?! haha.
He is still angry. It's over 24 hours now. Last night I finally got him to calm down enough to stop throwing stuff and yelling. I just can't believe he went from one of the best places I've seen him to rock bottom so quickly! It blows my mind that this happens! I feel like he's faking it now, but I know he's not. He's spiraling and getting angrier with it. It's a vicious cycle... Honestly not sure how to pull him out of this cycle.
He's so angry. Now he's not even able to talk to me normally... Which I hate!!! Just talk to me... Last week when he was upset I was able to sit with him and just stroke his hair and love him. Tonight... I can't even say anything.
I want him back! I miss him...
