I saw Micheal J Fox on Jon Stewart and found him to be quite inspiring and I think his message can be spread to other illnesses and afflictions. You can check out his interview on The Daily Show website.
He said that his illness 'is what is' and there isn't much he can do except to stay focused on making the most of his life. He doesn't spend a lot of time feeling sorry for himself and he tries to turn his situation into a positive message for others. He said the remarks from Rush Limbaugh served to help really focus on his goals and in the end he thinks it back fired on Rush and helped bring more awareness to PD.
