I injured myself at aquatherapy 3 weeks ago thinking ti was a flare up doing straight leg kicks front and back in the water I was with PT. I even went for my lumbar epidural and facet joint injections and SSI and hip injection. They also injected this big lump on my back they said was a trigger point. Went ot see my Primary GP Dr. and she has to fill out 2 pension papers for me and also get another Orthosurgeon referral for me. She was upset as it's my 4th request in over 2 years for a referral to an Orthosurgeon.
So my Dr. is covering me since my injury over 2 years ago was so upset with me and I forgot to tell her I had injured my back while swimming. I feel like calling and telling her now. What should I do? I'm already on mega pain pills. I'm afraid she won't treat me anymore? I just had an MRI in November don't know if she would let me have another one? Thanks. Cher

I also injured myself in aquatherapy. Going into the pool was the worst thing I could have done, but the pain mgt. doctor ordered it so I had to do it. After I hurt myself, I refused to go anymore! I couldn't even walk back & forth in the water without pain.
Since it's been 3 weeks, you need to tell someone! And since your primary is taking care of you, I guess it has to be her. Like I said, it's too bad if she's upset ~ it's not like you did this on purpose. She has no reason to stop treating you!!! But you should see if you've done further damage.
