I had a hysterectomy 6 years ago which was totally unwarranted. I recently started having back, hip, and rib cage pain from the inevitable post-hyst spine compression as well as decreased circulation. I don't know that I have DDD.
Has anyone here used an inversion table? Does it help? How often and for how long do you use it to get relief?

I have a crease a couple inches above my navel that's evidence of the spine compression and it's much less noticeable in the morning so laying down helps. My back and hips don't tend to hurt in the a.m. but I'm "aware" of my upper spine when I wake up most mornings. I can't say it hurts but before my hysterectomy, I didn't "feel" my spine if that makes sense. I may have spinal stenosis as it seems like the "slippage" of the spine as well as some possible loss of bone mass could cause stenosis.
