Doesn't you doc have you on something like Neurontin (Gabapentin) or Topamax?? Those are seizure meds, but they found out that they work for nerve-type pain, which is what you're experiencing. Ask you doc about putting you on some -- it should really HELP that sensation!!

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I am on Gaba; the highest dose that is allowed. It has helped very much, but it hasn't completely taken away these symptoms. Now that you mention it, I also get that hot poker feeling in my thighs, right above my knees, or in near my hip.
