I have DDD & MS so it is hard to know what is causing what. I have my L3 & L4 Disks 90% gone and what is left if prolapsed. I also have one in my neck that is also 90% gone. I have a huge MS lesion at T2 it covers 3 vertebrata.
Any way lately my neck has been killing me. It is painful to lift my head up. I also have a pain in my L temple & L eye. I am sensitive to light & feel like vomiting.
Does anyone else have these symptoms and if so what can you do for them.
They have recommended I ware a soft collar. I am afraid it will make my neck weaker.
Oh yeah I am not a candidate for surgery b/c of the MS.

There is nothing you can do about DDD. It does get worse as time goes on. Unfortunately some of us get it sooner than others -- usually it's caused by age, but other conditions can cause it too. Unfortunately, you're suffering from a bad case of it.
