I just wanted to say hello. I am not new to D.S. I have been on here or many years on the LYME and DEPRESSION groups. I have had neck pain and shoulder pain for years and just put it up to my Lymes Disease. So finally it started to rack realy bad and feel as though it was going to get stuck. I went to my primary who sent me for an MRI and called back with a NUEROSURGEONS name and number.
I know that I have MODERATE degeneration at C5-C6 and C6-C7 with loss of disc signal and disc height. Mild to moderate disc protrusion. There is desiccation and mild disc bulging to the left at C2-C-3, C4-C5 and to a greater drgree at C3-C4. I aslo have straigtening of the normal cervical lordosis perhaps due to musle spasm. I know that I use to tell my husband that if I could straighten my neck i could feel better that is probably why.
I have been battling Lyme for going on 8 years now which caused me to stop working a job I loved. this is just icing on the cake. I already have a PM doctor for my Lymes but am really scared to een think of an operation or injections inmy neck !!
I go to the Nuerosurgeon on Tuesday the 27th, so it is comibng up quick. thanks for listening and my prayers are with you all.

I also have cervical issues and, it is a pretty difficult thing to live with. My neck always feels like it is going to snap in half!
I hope that you are able to find some relief and, I hope that your neurosurgeon is a good doc who will offer indepth and accurate information to you with several options for relief.
