You are not alone...there are many of "you" out there. The chronic pain board is far more active than this one and you may find some more people closer to your age.
My problems started in my late teen (15 or so) for no apparent reason either. I am now in my late 30's and I am disabled.
I hope you find the support you are looking for and that you are able to make some friends here who you feel you have a good connection with.
HUGS and support to you.
Some of us get a severe case of it earlier than others. It can run in families, from what I've read. There really isn't much we can do to prevent it or stop the progression. I started having problems with it in my late 30's -- and was disabled by 44yrs old. I'm 62 now, and YOIKS it hurts! LOL
There are many here with the same thing you have, so please don't feel alone. We certainly understand what you're going thru. Have you tried a pain management clinic yet? If not, get a referral to one -- they can give more options for pain relief other than medications.
I wish you the very best. Why not join us on Chronic Pain? That "room" is much busier than this one, and you're likely to get more responses. Take care & God bless. Hugs, Lee
