Where do you get dabigatran in US?

Where can you get dabigatran "pradaxa" in the US? It sounds like they're less fatigue, brain fog side effects? You don't need INRs! Isn't it a better option than warfarin? What doctor will prescribe it? My doctor can't cause she says it's not approved in the US and not for DVT.

Dabigatran is not yet approved in the U.S. and once approved with be used initially for treatment for Atril Fib patients only. Will probably hit the market, once approved by the FDA in either late 2010 or 2011.

Rivaroxaban will be the first new oral anticoagulant approved (early 2010) here in the U.S. It will initially be used for knee/hip replacement only.

Apixaban is the other oral anticoagulant and is probably going to be available like Dabigatran in either late 2010 or 2011.

I was on Dabigatran for 10 months (trial run , third phase).until I needed an emergency operation, which was denied to me because as of NOW, Dabi does not have an antidote, to reverse the effect.
Sure you don't need INR testings, it's not vitamin K antigonist, no side effects, but is it worth it to run the chance of not having a emergency exit???
You preach against warfarin, but in the same scenario, if you need an EMERGENCY operation they can give you vitamin K that in two hours the effect will be TOTALLY eradicated from your system.
To me that is better...
If you can inject yourself and don't mind paying more you can take LMWH ...
