I got a cortical vein thrombosis after having my daughter in April 08. Since I've been having terrible anxiety, muscle twitches, pressure headaches etc...I had a head MRI that showed the DVT is gone last week,...but I'm still on the Warfarin (6 months). Last week I went for a x-ray of my shoulder b/c it's been bothering me on and off for about 3 years (both shoulders)..but the x-ray was only for the right one. Anyway, I just got a call from the nurse requesting it be repeated in 6-8 weeks time due to "soft tissue calcification"....so of course I look online, and see "osteosarcoma"....and start to freak out! I saw a post relating DVT's to malignancy and now I'm scared. I have relating all my symptoms to warfarin or anxiety but now I'm thinking they can't ALL be related to my anxiety can they?

RELAX and call your Dr :) If you are worried please do not wait.
I would NOT WORRY AT ALL...soft tissue calcifications are seen often as benign findings on radiology reports...they can have so many causes---do not worry
