Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) Support Group
Deep-vein thrombosis, also known as deep-venous thrombosis or DVT, is the formation of a blood clot ("thrombus") in a deep vein. It can be caused by something preventing blood from circulating or clotting normally. Join the support group if you are coping with DVT and find others who are going through the same challenges.
Anyway, the clot grew bigger and was behind my left knee by Monday the 16th, I went to a different ER, by that time I had 3 clots in my lungs. But I did receive treatment, stayed 2 nights in the Hospital. I am on Eliquios,
The fear you are having is very normal. I have the same fears.
Elevate your leg for swelling, drink lots of water and maybe try ice to help with the swelling.

Know that what you're feeling is very normal. I was diagnosed with a DVT in August that really came out of no where - I was 27, very fit, hadn't taken any trips or anything so I felt like my body had betrayed me and was very anxious and depressed. It does get better over time. Try to find some distractions and don't be afraid to talk to your doctor about the anxiety. I was put back in an anxiety medication that also helped me.
Hang in there!
