Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) Support Group
Deep-vein thrombosis, also known as deep-venous thrombosis or DVT, is the formation of a blood clot ("thrombus") in a deep vein. It can be caused by something preventing blood from circulating or clotting normally. Join the support group if you are coping with DVT and find others who are going through the same challenges.

Just scroll through the pages. The search facility doesn't seem to index all the pages. I'd just browse through the threads, having a quick read. Some of the stuff will affect you at some point.

Sorry to hear that you're not sure what caused this. For me, they thought it was birth control originally (any chance you're on HRT?), but I clotted again after I was off the BC, so not sure now. I've also been tested a number of times for clotting disorders and been negative on everything. Hard to say what causes the clots, although they're learning more about clotting every day, so maybe I'll find out what I "have" in a few years.
Hang in there! Hope you're finding some good info on these pages! There's a lot of stuff here.
I will go look for the PE group now.
