I've seen others, however, have serious issues with siblings when dealing with estate matters. Death often tears all kinds of relationships apart. You'd like to think that tough times would bring people together. Sadly, I've seen it do the opposite too many times.
I was hurt terribly by being left alone in such an awful situation. I realized then, much after the fact, that people just didn't get it. The kind of pain I was in wasn't something they'd ever experienced before and they thought I was being melodramatic or something. Like most people, they'd given grief a simple definition and time frame. I'd exceeded mine, so I was dismissed.
One thing I do know for sure about all this, you cannot convince or explain to someone how hurt you are. They either get it or they don't. Hang in there.
But I'm getting thru this and healing.
How are you?
So, how am I? My answer would be, still here. The only problem is, I don't know where "here" is. The more I ponder the problem of ascertaining my exact location, the worse it gets. I think I'm somewhere in between radiant moron and lackluster genius. Nothing that some Calgon, vodka, a stick and a swami can't fix...:)
