My mom died 14 months ago and i dont know how to get through it,i have my good days and bad days here lately ive had alot of bad days,i feel like ill never get through this bc she was my best friend and i miss her so much,theres so many days that i just say i wouldn't care if i died today so i could see her again and i know thats not fair to my fiancé,my dad or my other friends and family but its how i feel

Hi, I'm very sorry for your loss. I lost my mother in January of 1980 and though I still miss her, I always carry her with me. I always think about what my mother would think about the choices I make to this day and hope that she is happy with how I am doing. There is also a Bereavement support group on Daily Strength which is very active:
