It seems this was an active group before I joined (just reading back. I'm here and ready to interact. Guess I had slowed down during the holidays but now that's behind me a bit (although we have Carnival season going l=on leading up to Mardi Gras and the Super Bowl is in New Orleans)...I'm in Baton Rouge.

Anyway, sometimes I need feedback on the seemingly smallest things (was diagnosed at the end of July '12) but at least I know there are folks here that are willing to listen so I will ask away from now on.

Yes, please do share and we much trust others will respond to you and others.

I would love to know of ways I can help by writing to non active members and inviting them to get involved although these are only words and no promise since I don't have much time.

This place means a lot to me and I love my friends here so I feel bad when I don't have much time to write.

Release - shoot away - from our experiences, we probably have the answers.

Any ideas to jump start the group are welcome.

I visited New Orleans once Release and loved it! There's so much history and MUSIC there. Bourbon Street was neat. A fascinating city!

Maybe we should start a thread that describes the cities we live in? Anything to get the converation flowing...

This group seemed to have gone into decline since ArlineH disappeared. Some said she was abrupt and caustic . I found her trolls I mean posts v refreshing, blunt and to the point in a N/Y kind of fashion.
If anyone knows her whereabouts maybe we could coax her back.

I did hear that she inherited over $12,million and was unhappy with the constant begging Requests
for cash.

ArlineH wasnt abrupt or caustic. She didnt beat around the bush - some people like coddling - she told the truth and was very honest. Some people like this; others dont.

No I entirely agree, But i do remember an unfair and bias post to that effect . and if ArlineH had seen it I am sure she would have put the miscreant right.

Just miss her non beat around the bush posts. Must say that you have an excellent Re-call of our past characters I know you and her were on very good terms.

Arline was blunt as possible, but I could see she cared about people and was concerned about there health. I am glad I was friends with her since she helped knowing she didn't hide from those she knew. I am not going to say I always agreed with her although it came from the heart and not meant to hurt anyone.

I never knew Arline to flatter anyone and I heard that Flattery is BAD, not going to happen on her watch.

Seriously, I miss Hoops still and I hope he will be back before I see him again soon.

Im kickin....i come in on random months....to say hi and see how everyone is doin.. I dont have diabetes so I cant relate to alot..but i like to participate in fun conversations... starting a thread on where you are from and describe it would be neat..
