I know that a leak of superheated steam can burn like hell
Talking about chicken I have a rotisserie i don't use, and my local butcher and supermarket both sell freshly roasted chicken for not much more than a fresh one.
Its the same with salad, when you can get a pack with all the different varieties in It seem pointless getting all the different stuff individually, all the waste and then half of it is dumped anyhow!
Procrastination apart when warmer weather arrives I'm on a salad and chicken diet and fresh fruit
As for loosing weight No matter what the calorie intake the body just seems to make its mind up what size its going to be, and at a certain age there ain't a lot to be done
I know a guy I was working with who lived on an apple and cheese sandwich a day and was still overweight. Maybe it was because he was extremely lazy and did very little work that was the cause,
The fattest man in the world now is apparently in England since the last guy in Mexico died, he has the title.
over 980lb He was recently airlifted to hospital by a chinnock it is sad but he has cost over $2m in care cost's so far.
what gets me though is last time he lost over 400lb but put it on again
, As he was bed bound and eating 20,000 calories a day his care worker's or family are complicit in enabling him to eat so much, He says he's addicted to food personally if it were me I thing I'd go cold turkey.( that's without the cranberry sauce)!
I like roasts, Hath, but being I live alone its kinda silly to make them so often, I have tried chickens from the supermarket and from Bjs but when I looked at the ingredients I couldn't eat them. Most are loaded with brown sugar and other no-nos for me. I agree the ready made salads are cheaper in the long run, I don't buy them because I like to the cut my veggies a certain way (especially lettuce) that makes it crispier. I bought it once and found it loaded with water and mostly lettuce so I stopped.
Our chickens are raised on the menomite farm and are large and grain fed and very juicy.. nothing is added.
By the way, you can't eat chicken soup the same day - you have to refrigerate the soup and wait till the fat gels on top so you can remove it. And deboning the chicken and separating it from the soup is something I don't want to do if I'm sick.
She's give ol Ramsay a run for his money
If I ever need help composing a letter of complaint I know who to turn to for some inspiration and tips
Some people are good at it though a woman went in to the local grocer with half a cabbage she said she had cooked half of it and it was not very nice and demanded her money back
Takes a bit of nerve, and gave me a laugh but she got her refund. about 40cents.
YEARS AGO I WAS HAVING SPECIAL COMPANY AND NEEDED A TREE BY THE DINING ROOM TABLE BECAUSE MINE HAD DIED. WENT TO HOME DEPOT. BOUGHT A PALM TREE WHICH I KNEW WOULD DIE, SINCE THE GUARANTEE THEIR PLANTS I BOUGHT IT AND RETURNED IT 2 WEEKS LATER DEAD,
I CANT BAKE BUT I HAVE MY MOTHER'S KNACK OF COOKING. I HAVE NEVER USED A COOK BOOK OR FOLLOWED A RECIPE. JUST GIVE ME A HINT OF INGREDIENTS AND I MAKE IT UP AS I GO ALONG. IF AT FIRST ITS NO GOOD I ALTER IT THE NEXT TIME.
Yes, it does take a strong minded person to do things like that, but I bet Arline would get her forty cents for her cabbage too
Arline that is right and not only for chicken either but any home-made stock (meat that is) should be allowed to settle at least overnight and then the fat skimmed off before you use it.
I lived alone for quite a number of years and I still had roasts - but here you can buy small ones I guess there is a demand for them because of the number of people living alone these days so they cater for them which is good.
I do not do pot roasts but just season the meat and put it in the oven with the veg and baste and turn it as needed. A really good and easy meal.
There was only the two of us for quite a while, so we wouldnt eat a normal sized roast, either. I w ould get the butcher to cut into as many small roasts as I felt like. I would only like it to last a day, maybe two and some sandwiches. They will do this for you if you ask
