I never watch TV during the day except if I'm home I like to watch "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" This week they have celebraties playing for Alzheimers and today Paula Deene was on there. Even Meredith Viera was looking at her cross-eyed. She was acting like a stupid blonde. Wouldnt shut up until finally Meredith insisted on playing the game. She prounced around showing off her 32 lb weight loss.

Hey, I didn't know she'd lost that much weight! 32 pounds is a hefty chunk!

Dont think Meredith liked her, She made a lot of weird faces at her. But winning is something else. It was for Alzheimer's Assoc. She lost that much weight because she left out heavy cream from her recipes as per the pharm company she's representing.

Bacon grease probably helped too. Many of her recipes used bacon grease to season. Growing up, we threw it into all the vegetables. Lots of butter too....
A recipe for disaster, but it sure was good!

My mother use to love fried fat back to go with her hand full of salt :-))
When she was in her late 80's with diabetes and all her other health issues the doctor had her on a diet.
I would hear her get up after she thought everyone was a sleep and have a few pieces of candy :-))

LOL! Things were so simple years ago. They had no clue that all those foods weren't healthy. I can remember hearing as a kid that ice cream was good for you. If it contained milk it was healthy they said...
