Nutmeg spray numbs nerve pain
A spray containing nutmeg could ease a painful condition caused by diabetes.
Applied three times a day, scientists believe it will relieve diabetic neuropathy, where the nerves become damaged by too much sugar in the blood.
The condition affects up to 70 per cent of diabetics and symptoms include a burning sensation, pain or tingling in the limbs.
A spray made out of nutmeg claims to be able to reduce diabetic neuropathy
Painkillers are one of the main treatments, but some cannot be taken for prolonged periods as they can cause stomach ulcers.
In a clinical trial at the University of the West Indies, patients will use the spray on the affected part of their body for at least four weeks.
The trial follows earlier research that found the spice appears to have strong anti-inflammatory effects.

It would be great if it is true as I know many who suffer with this pain in their feet and can't get relief!

Yes the Vicks for colds Vicks vapor Rub!!!! This also works if your working in the yard and cut your hands or feet you put this on the cuts and the pain is gone no redness nothing. Stuff is great!!
Nothing helps the neuropathy from what I understand.

Do you go to a foot Doc to have it cut it away every so often? I did till finally I had it removed but that was when I didn't know I had diabetes. Now you have to be very careful with that. I hope the Vicks helps you.

I have been referred to a foot doctor, but I havent gone yet. I didnt even know I had this ingrown toenail until I went to cut my toenails.
I sure wish I could find something for that terrible neuropathy too.. either medical or natural.. I dont care!
