We have a fresh fish monger nearby and its caught on the South Coast and brought up to London right away but god it works out expensive I can afford it myself
But for most family's its just too expensive to serve very often.
I live along but when i visit people with 3-4 in the family I begin to understand what budgeting means
and why for some cheap processes food has to be used to keep meals affordable
and they seem to need to use antibiotics to keep disease at bay
I have also read that fish should only be eaten 2-3 times a week because of the mercury and other stuff found in it I saw a picture of some shell fish glowing in the dark because of the radiation it had absorbed from a nearby nuclear plant
This was said to be harmless no worse than smoking a cigarette
Also some food companies were actually illegally radiating out of date sea food to kill off the bacteria
and reselling it
It was supposed only for cat food but guess what a whole load of it was being sold on market fish stalls
and maybe a side of that Maple cured hog meat
Hold the fresh water fish though it has no taste or flavour
Make sure its well iced though don't want it going off on the way
