The best burgers are home made some prime beef minced and some egg white to hold it together lightly fried in some oil.
Beef is cheap in the USA ?????
in the supermarkets where i shop , i don't remember seeing it ,""""but my bacon isn't salty """".
the meat isn't cheap here , sometimes you can find it on sale . the only meat we buy is chicken
because we raise our own ... we have a hamburger sometimes out of the ground beef , i'v never tried putting egg white in it , i'll try that . we have been eating boca burgers ,( soy burgers) . they are good . oxoxox
I have never eaten lamb either Lizzie! I thought I was the only one. No, it is not in the supermarkets here either.
Most of Europe, Australia, New Zelanders eat lamb. I'm sure I read one of the reason's Lissie Borden killed her parents was because she was made to eat mutton stew. everyday?
Maybe that's why it died out in the USA!
A T-bone or strip steak is now $10 lb when its not on sale. Chuck steaks are cheap but they are so fatty I rarely buy them. I eat a lot of hamburgers and meatloaf. Hamburger meat is always on sale very cheap. But I don't put anything in hamburgers or do I fry them. I put them on the BBQ or George Foreman grill
CAN'T STAND THE THOUGHT OF THAT .
