What eye tests have you all had?
I have just had the normal eye test and an supposed to get a check in which they take a photo of the back of the eye but will need to chase them up seem s its important to find out of any problems at an early stage so any treatment can be carried out a s a p
I get my 6 monthly blood glucose check in August hope it shows my control is good, as for the most part I have tried to keep to a good diet.
and have been on metformin
My eye sight is OK generally but reading needs some magnification is sometime blurry
So remember grasshoppers Get the eye's checked out!

the eye test for retinopathy when a picture is taken is important because early treatment will prevent further damage occurring
the eye scan is assessed by graders who assess the condition from no sign of damaged through to stage 3 which is emergency laser treatment required to prevent blindness.
