Dating after Divorce Community Group
After divorce it's hard to jump back into the dating scene. This group will help support each other as we get back out there in the dating world.
I tired of bitching about lonliness or not being complete because dating has changed so much since I was last single so I made the consious choice to longer blame someone else for me being frustrated. I do everything that makes me happy on my timeline. Whether it be reading, going to the gym, a play or even a vacation and if I feel like it, I flirt with someone without hope.
I look at our youth who choose not to get in a committed relationship and how concentrated they are on bettering themselves financially/career-wise or even being activists all WHILE using those Tinder dating sites for what they really are.....hook-ups only. They've watched their elders, us, and know better than to invest in that 1 someone else so they diversify their portfolios~so to speak.
They're ok, they're succeeding....they're ok. Thank goodness!
I know that I took cues from my elders as to how to do relationships, and I don't know everything so I'll look at the youth to see how its done now.
All that being said, I am very curious about what dating will be like in another few years and I still can't seem to use a dating app but.....I am learning to that I'm successful in other areas of my life so not using an app, not meeting someone at a bar or wherever is fine with me because I have the other things in my life.
I'm happier, calmer, healthier but also wonder if my outlook on life is a mid-life crisis?

Never turn away from good behaviors and good advice. There is contentment in holiness. Eventually, it’ll all add up to something more precious and valuable. I still hope, and instill believe, although at times my mind tried to say otherwise; my heart knows better.
