hello i have just joined and thought someone would like to hear about the loves of my life,i have a jack russell terrier ,his name is Jake,he is 15 years old sometime this year,we don't know exactly when because we had him from a rescue center,he is such a friendly loveinglittle dog,he likes to go everywhere i go,he seldom leaves my side, i love him so much,he has a lot of health problems but with a good veterenarian we are able to give him a good life,he only has about two years left in him and i dread the day he leaves us,,i also have two gorgeous ferrets Harry and Hazel they came from a rescue center as well,they are brother and sister and about four years old,they are such characters,hazel loves nothing better than for me to hold and cuddle her her , she sits on my shoulders while i do my chores around the house,harry on the other hand is too macho for lots of cuddles,his favourite pastimes are digging in compost and playing in boxes of shredded paperthey live in a special court in the garden,my son has a ferret too called Stanley he came from the same rescue as my two,he is a very sedate old gent of seven years old,and is a bit nippy but never the less a lovely animal,,i also have four zebra finches that i keep in the house,they are beautiful but very noisy and very messy,but i wouldn't be without them,i can't imagine life withour any pets,i have been keeping pets since i was seven years old,mostly from rescue places so it would be awfull for me if for some reason i found that i could no longer keep pets.,,thank you for reading..
