they went to the vet on Friday and got their heartworm shots. Belle needed the test but they went ahead and gave her the shot because even if she had heartworms they would use the medication in the shot to treat them, I will learn probably tomorrow results of Belle's test.

I adopted a dog from Vizsla rescue that was tested positive for heartworms and she was treated fully by that organization for free with my adoption of her. She was such a sweet doggie....Carmen....I lost her to lymphoma.....long ago...before 2010....

I got call today....no heartworm or tic born illness in her.....
