Why do I continue to post to friends thinking that DS has fixed "issues"??  It worked for a day or maybe two but tonight I lost yet another post.  It is soooo dang frustrating.


Tonight I got the gateway thing when before it was service unavailable.  I just wish that neither of them would ever happen.


I guess I will go back to my trusty AOL and send a reason why they did not get my message on DS.  And how can you send accomplaint if service is unavaliable??

you said you do not know how to copy and paste? It is pretty easy....hit the right mouse button and then a window pops up before doing that you need to highlight the text you want to copy.....when that is highlighted by dragging the mouse over the text with the left mouse button pushed and held down.
then when you hit the right mouse button popup box has copy cut and paste and few other things in it....hit copy...it copies it to the clipboard....you will not see it trust me it is there....

if the post fails that is when you want to try to post it again....with the paste....

of course that is if the system comes back up....it takes time sometimes....

when you paste it will post just inside this text box where you copy from...do not try to copy the headline of a new post....it just does the text box or the headline not both....

then you get back on DS and can hit control V and it will post in where the cursor is....or use the popup box again right mouse button one time then get the cursor where you want it...then hit paste...

I think the gateway issues are caused more by the Internet services used than by the DS website. In any case, they are a big pain.

I always snag a copy to clipboard of everything, just before clicking 'send'.

Is there a way to download everything I have put on DS?

bonus, you might also want to know that a 403 forbidden could mean that your friend just dropped you and is ignoring you. I have for sure been there.

I really hope that is not the case for you.
