So this does not appear to be some kind of advertisement???

I don't think that at attached print screen will work.

A few weeks ago, I sent a screen print about the journal problems attached in word to support@dailystrength.org. This was their response:

"The system we're using will not allow us to accept attachments. Could you please describe the issue you are experiencing with your journal?"

You're KIDDING??????????? What the %%Y^%@^@# kinda system are they using .. Playstation???

if that is true, there are to POSSIBLE ways to show a picture to support:

Whatever you use to send an email probably has two 'modes' .. plain text and rich text. Send the email in RICH TEXT. With RICH TEXT, you can (usually) insert the picture into the BODY of the email .. which is different from ATTACHING it to the email.

The other way would be to upload the picture to your DS Photo Album and beg support to look at it.

Sheeesh.

As it happens I have got a copy of the screen and will have a go at uploading it.
Its only become a source of anoyance since the message changed from "aren't I cute" to something more sinister,otherwise I would have just not bothered to make a fuss.

I assume you mean upload it to your PHOTO ALBUM. Know this:

It must be a gif or jpg file

the maximum FILE SIZE cannot exceed 1.5MB.

Once you get it uploaded, I will be glad to take a look and see what we can figure out. PM me if you wish.

I wish I was kidding. I still have the DS email response that I quoted. I found it a tad strange myself.

At this moment, I see the Meebo Chat Bar .. it goes across the entire bottom of this page. On the right it says You are offline. In the middle it says Share Page. On the LEFT is a graphic (looks like a dog) and it says Aren't I Cute?

All this comes from MEEBO. You cannot eliminate any of it EXCEPT by hiding the entire chat bar. You cannot hide it CONVENIENTLY. You have to go to the link above and configure Firefox or IE8 so that they eliminate (on demand) the chat bar.

As for the "angry looking guy" .. I am assuming this is another Meebo 'advertisement' as is the dog I am seeing now (the advertisements appear randomly).

If the angry looking guy is something else, then I do not know what we are dealing with. It seems very odd that by simply 'brushing over' it you are taken to a video. When I brush over the dog, I have to CLICK to go anywhere. This leads me to wonder what this 'angry looking guy' is .. it may be a 'hack' of some sort. If the video is promotional in some way, then I assume it is a Meebo advert. Otherwise, I do not know what it is. I have not seen it.

I have uploaded it to my photo album just to prove Im not making it up.

In the scheme of things it doesn't normally bother me,but taking this site is here to support various emotinal issues,I didn't think it was appropiate.
As at the time I was and still am going through a personal crisis of my own,and this did't help.

OK, .. just took a close look at it. No doubt it is some (stupid) MEEBO 'advertisement/promotional'. I have never seen it before but its position and general nature tells me it is something like that coming from Meebo. I find it very objectionable .. but reporting it would be difficult .. 1. It is coming from Meebo. 2. DS apparently doesn't accept email attachments. 3. They may not care whether we find it objectionable or not.

Your choices are .. 1. Live with it. 2. Wait until Meebo replaces it with something else. 3. Turn off the Meebo Chat Bar entirely which is described in a link in one of the other replies.

Yes I think that it is meebo generated as I saw it when I was mucking around with the computer testing things - and when I was on IE it came up then - I didn't bother doing anything about it as I do not use IE.
I can totally understand why it was so annoying I would hate to see that on my screen all day every day.

Yes when I sent information about my problem I put it into the email as an image - that might work for you.
I used
screengrab then saved it to my computer and added it as an image and sent it off.

LOL WV loved that comment about playstation - I was thinking of CCMail (if anyone has a clue what that is now). It was the DOS version of email and very primitive by today's standards.....but it worked.
