I called the SSA and found out I don't qualify. Even though I am family and the only one- I am not under 22, disabled, or spouse of the person who died. So, I am out of luck.
Fell between the cracks again. As usual.....

gosh that sucks.....money is money and the government will spend $3000 for a space shuttle toilet seat but not send a woman whose mom was on SS the death benefit......wow....sorry

And to make matter's worse is the billions of dollars sent overseas to countries that hate us.

Mary, I'm sorry to hear this. I have recently been struggling with the worst financial predicaments of my lifetime, and it just SUCKS BIG TIME that we hafta be even more stressed out about money every day.

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....
