We have found some links and posts that are very helpful for new members of our group and we have to keep bumping that to the top of our very active group so that new members can find them or keep posting the same messages. Is there a way we can have a "bulletin board" or sticky topic on site that ideally could be updated, or could someone start a group called "Helpful links to ....... information" for example. b.

Only if you can convince DS to provid it. That would start with a feedback form to them in the style of a suggestion/request.

MEMBER GROUPS are free and can be created by any DS Member. The creator (founder) can model the group into any kind they wish .. and is responsible for its content. By this I mean yes .. a Group of the kind you mention could be started by anyone who cares to do so.

Have you considered listing them in a news article? If you want to add a link, you could Just add it in a comment. It looks like "News" is always found at the top of the group page and the most recent article appears first. I'm just not sure if adding comments will cause it to supersede a news item that is newer than the original link article. You could maybe test w/an older article and see?

I don't see "news" at the top of our main support page--is that only for Groups or is there someway to add it? b.

I thought you were referring to member created member groups. If you're talking about a DS created main group, then I would 2nd WV's suggestion of creating a member group or you can add it to the recommendations section which is found on the main general discussions page.

I guess the only way you could have a place where you controlled the posting (in other words, were able to update information) would be to start a member group. I will see what is involved with that. Thank you. I do wish the feed back form were easier to find (I've lost that information again). b.

They do hide it well. lol Click on help (located in upper right corner of every DS page). Then click on Rules of the Road & scroll all the way to the bottom.

It's pretty easy to start a member group. Just go to your group's main page, click on 'groups', then click on create a group.

Guess they'd say, "can't you just put up a real bulletin board."
