Is Your Typing Weird Now?

I don't know if it is DS or the fact that I have a hacker who follows me everywhere but my typing is really jerky - it is also very uneven and when I'm in the middle of a message - it suddenly sends itself off all by itself.

I have had a hacker hanging on my computer for a long time and it could very well be their interference with my computer rather than anything wrong with DS - so I'm just checking with you guys.

Linda .. if you are being hacked .. EVERYTHING you type .. online banking passwords .. everything CAN be recorded by the 'hacker'.

Please .. do what you must to make SURE your computer system is completely safe.

I've had some funny looking lines of type come up on the screen on DS. They seem to fix themselves after a few minutes though and today while I was on DS the whole page went white and blank. Came back later and everything was good.

I have had no problem when I use Firefox as the browser (not sure about IE) but I have some fun when I use Opera - but as It is new to me I think it is more that than DS.

Thank you WV - this person has some serious pros hacking for him and he has for years - so I just don't do banking online, etc. and I do watch my bank accounts very carefully- if I use a card to buy something online It's a nightmare but it is what it is and I have not been able to undo what he does - ever.

It has involved litigation - for years - and a lot of ID theft in a number of areas. In fact I have now involved the federal government - and I'm just real careful and always expect the worst from this guy and protect myself the best I can. As a doctor told me one time - it's a nightmare if a sociopath targets you and he is one - - and it is a nightmare.

I had a long talk with Apple Computers' home office and they tried to help me pin it down - but finally they even said they can't totally or always protect themselves from occasional hacks - so it can be a real problem if someone is intent on following you around and knowing EVERYTHING that you do - and that is the situation. It's crazy - and I just keep hoping he'll disappear by way of natural causes :) lol - Can I say that? If I can't I'm sorry.......he's not a member or anything - just an old hack.

But WV - thanks for offering advice. I appreciate your help here on DS very much. Thanks for listening - it felt good to get that out.

Interesting - A DS friend of mine - now left the site for other reason (health) had her system hacked through of all things AOL and WC.
Surely you would think that they would have some of the best protection in place - but she lost of lot of information but thankfully not ID theft - at least not that time.

I always suspected that it was someone trying to prove her a WC claim fraudster - not the case but they will go to extraordinary lengths to prove they don't have to pay you!
